SCULPTURE

Materials Needed:

Sculpture II

Students will need:
1) Sketchbook. must be hardbound 81/2 x 11.
2) Styrofoam egg carton to hold your acrylic paints.
3) Any plastic garbage bag with a twist tie. 13 gal or more.
4) Small plastic container with lid. Ex: A butter or cream tub
5) A shoebox with a lid, large enough to hold the other items.
6) Two wood chisels - 1" and 1/4"

About the instructor

Khanh Tran, sculpture

Khanh Tran has the distinction of not only being a gifted artist and instructor, he is also a graduate of the DA Visual Art Department. Tran earned his BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art where he studied sculpture. In addition to sculpture Tran explored the practical side of his art by working as a builder of custom cabinetry prior to joining the DA faculty.

If you would like to contribute directly to the Visual Arts department, the following are specific needs facing the department this year:

• 8 ft. ladder
• Large carton of white Mat Board
• Large paint brushes (2”+)
• White and Bright color copier paper
• CD-R’s with cases or paper sleeves
