PRINTMAKING I

Materials Needed:
A take home project charge of $30.00 will be assessed for this course. Students will need 8.5 x 11" hardbound sketchbooks, drawing pencils (especially 2B, 4B and 6B). Color markers will be needed for designing sketchbook pages as well as glue sticks, erasers and paintbrushes. A camera will be needed to document steps involved in printmaking processes.

About the instructor

Barry E. Wilson , artist / printmaker

Barry Wilson is a 1989 MFA graduate of Florida State University. Now an instructor at the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in Jacksonville, Wilson has also worked with the Jacksonville Art Museum, the Duval County public schools, and served as an Assistant Professor at Jacksonville University. He has over 90 shows to his credit, 20 of which are solo exhibitions. His work can be found in a number of collections including the City of Orlando, Delta Airlines, the Rajasthan School of Art in India and the Superstock Corporation of France.
